FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
[FAQ]: Are you insured and licensed? Do you have pet first aid?
Yes & Yes.
Your pet's safety is my top priority — I'm well-prepared for both everyday care and any unexpected situations that may arise.
I'm fully insured through ProFur, licensed to offer professional pet care services, and certified in Pet First Aid through both Pet Pro Hero (May 2025) and Walks 'N' Wags (December 2023).
[FAQ]:
Do you have a formal contract or terms and conditions for your services?
Yes—I have a set of terms and conditions (“TOS”) that outline how I operate my small business and what you can expect from my services.
Ocean Breeze Pet Care’s TOS can be found here, within your invoice or at the footer of my website.
If you are unable to locate the Terms of Service, feel free to request a PDF copy. I’m happy to answer any questions or walk you through any part of it.

[FAQ]: Do you offer group or pack walks?
No.
I specialize in 1-on-1 care and private walks.
This means that I do not walk dogs from different households together.
If you have multiple pets at home, I’m happy to walk them together!
-
[FAQ]: Do you offer GPS tracking for walks?
Yes! Absolutely.
I provide GPS maps of each walk so you can see the exact route your dog and I took. I also share photos and videos along the way, giving you a glimpse of the fun your dog is having.
This ensures peace of mind while you track your pet's exercise and adventures.
After each walk, I’ll send you the map along with a brief update on how your dog did, so you’re always in the loop.
-
[FAQ]: When will my dog be walked?
I offer dog walks during the following time slots, and you’re welcome to choose the one that fits your pup’s routine best:
Morning: 8:00–10:00 AM
Afternoon: 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Evening: 3:00–5:00 PM
Need a walk outside of these hours?
I totally understand that life doesn’t always follow a schedule.
If you need a walk outside the listed times, feel free to reach out—I'm happy to see what I can do to accommodate you and your pup!
Booking Questions
Can I request more or fewer photos/videos of my pets? What if I don’t want my pet’s photos or videos shared publicly?
Absolutely!
My promise to you is to keep you connected with regular photo and video updates of your pets—so you can enjoy every moment, no matter where you are.
Whether it’s during walks, playtime, or any other service, feel free to let me know your preferences for how many updates you’d like. I’m happy to tailor the updates to suit your needs, whether that means a few special shots or plenty of adorable moments.
If you'd prefer your pet’s images not be used for promotional purposes, just let me know in writing before your booking begins. I’ll still provide private updates if you’d like, and your pet’s photos will remain off my public pages.
Your preferences will always be fully respected.
My dog pulls or gets reactive on walks— is that okay?
Lots of pups get excited or nervous out in the world, and I’m here to support them with patience and care.
Safety is a top priority for both your dog and me.
If your pup tends to pull or reacts to other dogs, people, or stimuli (like barking, lunging, or becoming anxious), I’ll take a calm, low-stress approach tailored to their needs. That might mean choosing quieter residential areas or adjusting our pace to help them feel more secure.
For dogs who pull on leash, I highly recommend using a front-clip harness like the Easy Walk®.
It provides gentle guidance and better control—making walks safer and more enjoyable for everyone. If you’re unsure what gear is best, I’m happy to go over options during our meet-and-greet.
Every dog is different, and my goal is always to meet them where they’re at—so our time together is safe, positive, and stress-free.
Should I choose a walk or a drop in for my pet?
It depends on your pet’s vibe:
Walks are perfect for energetic pets who need a good exercise session and some fresh air. It's a great way to burn off energy and give them a change of scenery.
Drop-ins are more laid-back. Ideal for pets who need a quick bathroom break, a little meal, or just some love and attention without the hustle of a walk.
Go with what suits your pet’s personality and needs for the day!
Do you offer discounts for multiple pets?
Yes, I do!
I understand that many households have more than one furry family member, so I offer discounted rates for additional pets whenever possible.
The exact discount depends on the type of service and the level of care each pet needs, but I always aim to keep my rates fair and reflective of the quality care I provide.
Please reach out with details about your pets, and I’ll be happy to provide a personalized quote!
What happens if my pet needs urgent vet care?
If something urgent happens, I’ll contact you right away.
If I can’t reach you, I’ll follow the emergency plan you’ve provided—this includes contacting your emergency contact and seeking veterinary care without delay if needed.
Please note that any costs related to veterinary treatment or transportation will be the client’s responsibility.
I promise that I will keep you updated as the situation unfolds and ensure your pet receives the care they need as quickly and safely as possible.
I’m on a “Walk More, Save More” package—when will I receive my invoice for next month?
Invoices are usually sent out shortly after the 15th of each month for the upcoming month’s package. If you haven’t received yours by the 25th, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
What is the difference between packages and punch cards?
It depends on your needs! Both options offer savings over single bookings— it's just a matter of what works best for your routine!
Walk packages are great if you want a consistent schedule and priority booking — perfect for regular weekly walks.
Punch cards offer more flexibility and can be used whenever you need, without committing to set days.
How do you handle keys and access? What if I don’t have a door code or lockbox?
I offer a few options to make key access easy:
Door Code / Lockbox (Preferred!): This is my favorite option, as it’s secure, simple, and avoids any extra fees.
Hidden Key: If a lockbox isn’t available, you can leave the key in a safe, secret spot, and I’ll pick it up at the start of the booking.
Key Pick-Up/Drop-Off: If needed, I can arrange a key pick-up or drop-off for a $20 fee each way.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions about key access or need help figuring out what works best for you!
What if I have a question that I not listed here?
If you have a question or concern that’s not covered in the FAQs, feel free to reach out directly!
I’m always happy to provide more information and ensure you feel confident in the care your pet will receive.
Just contact me via my website, email, or phone, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
